The Exploration Oud is the oriental line of La Closerie des Parfums, a French house founded in 2019 by Valérie Madrid (heir to the Panther Group, established in 1972). The collection places the most precious agarwood in perfumery in dialogue with five rare spices from around the world — cinnamon, pink pepper, cardamom, saffron — in the house's great narrative tradition.

The five creations of the Exploration Oud

The Exploration Oud brings together Oud Cannelle, Oud Baie Rose, Oud Cardamome, Oud Safran and Brume Oud — five compositions in which oud serves as a shared backdrop, and each spice weaves its own olfactory colour.
