Summer calls for scents that are fresh and luminous, never heavy on the skin — marine aquatics, sunny citrus, transporting greens and delicate florals. Heat intensifies certain materials (jasmine, tuberose) and softens others (resins, heavy ambers), calling for perfumery specifically suited to the season. Several families shine particularly brightly at this time of year. Aquatic scents (seaweed, sea spray, lotus) capture the sea and the ocean. Three territories dominate. Citrus fragrances — bergamot, lemon, neroli — bring freshness and sunshine. Aquatic fragrances evoke iodine and sea air. How much perfume should you apply in summer?

Two sprays are plenty in summer — the heat naturally amplifies diffusion. Favour the traditional areas (neck, wrists) rather than clothing (perspiration can alter the fragrance). For a halo effect, spray onto your hair. Remember to store your perfumes away from heat and direct light during the summer to preserve their integrity.

We ship within 24 working hours from Lille via Colissimo or Colissimo Point Relais (France and Europe). Orders to Asia are shipped via Colissimo Asie. For Canada, the USA and other destinations, delivery is by FedEx. Delivery is free from €60 in mainland France. You can also collect your order directly from our boutique in Lille, free of charge.
