Bois Impérial

Bois Impérial, a woody, spicy eau de parfum by Essential Parfums, is built around a rare wood, Akigalawood, in a daring creation by Quentin Bisch.

Freshly crushed leaves of spicy Thai basil open the composition with green freshness. Nepalese timut pepper absolute unfolds its peppery, sparkling facets — a brilliant contrast to the perfume's woody signature — while a green, earthy Haitian vetiver oil echoes Georgywood and its cedar tones. Akigalawood, a precious wood upcycled from patchouli through a biotechnological process, signs the composition, enhanced by Indonesian patchouli essence and a long-lasting note of Ambrofix.

Created by Quentin Bisch, this grand woody scent is born of Akigalawood, adorned with fresh spices and built on contrasts: the green vivacity of Thai basil against the earthy depth of patchouli — a masterful tension between brightness and warmth.
