The story

Room 1015: the perfume house of counterculture

A house born between pharmacy and music

Room 1015 is the work of Michael Partouche, whom everyone calls Dr Mike: a pharmacist by training and a musician at heart. The name refers to room 1015 of the Continental Hyatt House in Los Angeles, the famous “Riot House” where the legend of 1970s rock was written. Each creation is conceived as a manifesto: musical movements, alternative philosophies, love stories and freedom of expression.

Room 1015's signature perfumes

Cherry Punk snaps cherry against black leather, and Cherry Punk Extrait takes the duo further. Hollyrose dresses a rose in leather, Wasabi Klub captures the energy of street culture and Love-O-Matic the spark of a laundromat encounter. The newest arrival, Kokoa Bang, was born from a conversation between Dr Mike and perfumer Jérôme Di Marino over a coffee and a dessert: a textured cocoa over sparkling rosé champagne. The collection also includes Poppy Riot, Sonic Flower, Sweet Leaf and Electric Wood Extrait.

The noses behind Room 1015

The house works with renowned perfumers. Jérôme Di Marino signed Kokoa Bang, Wasabi Klub, Poppy Riot, Love-O-Matic, Jasmine Freak, Wavechild and Electric Wood Extrait; Jérôme Épinette composed Cherry Punk, Hollyrose and Sonic Flower; Serge De Oliveira created Sweet Leaf and Purple Mantra. Three different signatures, one shared insolence.

A bold, genderless olfactory signature

Room 1015 moves between fruity, floral, woody and leathery scents, with a few notes returning like refrains: cherry, leather, jasmine, patchouli and cocoa. Every creation is genderless, made for those who would rather step out of line. Frequently asked questions about Room 1015 perfumes

Who created the Room 1015 brand?

Room 1015 was created by Michael Partouche, nicknamed Dr Mike, a pharmacist by training and a musician at heart. He turned the house into an olfactory manifesto of counterculture: each perfume draws on a musical movement, an alternative philosophy or a love story, with a deliberately free spirit.

Why is the house called Room 1015?

The name comes from room 1015 of the Continental Hyatt House in Los Angeles, nicknamed the “Riot House”, where 1970s rock stars wrote some of their wildest chapters. Room 1015 has kept that spirit: freedom, unapologetic excess and nostalgia for an era without limits.

Which perfumers create Room 1015 fragrances?

Three noses sign most of the collection: Jérôme Di Marino (Kokoa Bang, Wasabi Klub, Love-O-Matic, Poppy Riot), Jérôme Épinette (Cherry Punk, Hollyrose, Sonic Flower) and Serge De Oliveira (Sweet Leaf, Purple Mantra). Each translates the house's rock universe in their own style.

Which Room 1015 perfume should I start with?

Cherry Punk is a great entry point: a juicy cherry set on black leather, romantic and rebellious at once. For a gourmand register, Kokoa Bang combines rosé champagne, cocoa and vanilla; for more freshness, Wasabi Klub plays on citrus and peppers. Our discovery box lets you compare at home.

Are Room 1015 perfumes unisex?

Yes. Room 1015 creations are designed without gender distinction, for those who claim their individuality. A leathery floral like Hollyrose is worn as freely as a musky fruity like Love-O-Matic: it is the skin and the attitude that make the difference.

Where can I buy Room 1015 perfumes in Lille?

At Soleil d'Or, an independent niche perfumery founded in 1953, at 22 rue de la Clef, Lille (59800). Our team will let you smell the Room 1015 collection and advise you. Online, home delivery is free from €69 in mainland France, and in-store pickup is free.
