LA BASE PERFECTRICE LA MER - Soleil d'Or

LA BASE PERFECTRICE

The Perfecting Primer sits at the hinge between skincare and makeup. Its formula brings together Miracle Broth™, ascorbyl glucoside and a set of marine and plant extracts — palmaria, laminaria, corallina, wheat germ, chestnut.

Applied over prepared skin, it hydrates and plumps, blurs the look of pores and unevenness, and leaves a smooth surface on which foundation glides without catching. The skin's natural luminosity comes through.

It belonged to Skincolor de La Mer, the makeup line the House has discontinued. Available while stocks last.

How to apply

Apply the primer over the whole face after your moisturiser, in a thin layer, and let it settle for a minute before makeup.

It also wears on its own, for a smoothed-skin effect. Close the bottle firmly after use and keep it away from direct light and high heat.

Why we love it

Benefits

  1. Hydrates and plumps the skin before makeup.
  2. Blurs the look of pores and imperfections.
  3. Prepares a smooth surface: foundation glides without catching.
  4. Revives the complexion's natural luminosity.

The house

LA MER

La Mer was born of one man's quest: Dr Max Huber, an aerospace physicist severely burned in a laboratory accident. Twelve years and more than six thousand experiments later, he perfected Miracle Broth™, a ferment of biofermented sea kelp enriched with vitamins and minerals, at the heart of every formula in the House. La Mer has carried on that bioenergetic science and its singular application ritual ever since, where luxury meets regeneration.
