Le Mat

Le Mat is an extrait de parfum from the Talismans collection, composed by perfumer Anne-Sophie Behaghel of Flair Paris, to a concept by Stefania Squeglia. It bears the French name of The Fool, the unnumbered arcanum of the tarot — the card of departure, chance and momentum.

The top pairs nutmeg, black pepper and clove. The heart rests on Grasse centifolia rose, lifted by Egyptian geranium. The base brings together Indonesian patchouli, cashmere wood and Spanish immortelle, for an earthy, balsamic and lastingly spicy sillage. Luca Turin awarded it five stars in the 2018 edition of Perfumes: The Guide.

MENDITTOROSA

Founded in 2012 by Stefania Squeglia, Mendittorosa is an Italian perfume house that creates limited-edition artisanal perfume extracts. Each fragrance is designed as a “prayer for the skin,” using natural ingredients and bottles handcrafted by Italian artists. The brand prides itself on being free of dyes, BHA, BHT, as well as PBA and PVC, reflecting a commitment to purity and authenticity.
