ENCENS SUAVE

Encens Suave showcases a central raw material: Omani frankincense essence. Aurélien Guichard makes it a pleasurable incense, carnal and addictive, warmed by a novel accord of coffee and vanilla.

The sensuality of the incense is heightened by Andalusian cistus-labdanum absolute and Sumatran benzoin absolute, while the gourmand facet relies on Venezuelan coffee and Madagascan vanilla absolute — for a warm, resinous and enveloping sillage.

Encens Suave embodies the philosophy of Matiere Premiere: elevating a raw material in a pared-back composition, both minimalist and generously addictive.

Matiere Premiere is a French perfume house created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, whose vision is based on a simple idea: to reveal the power and uniqueness of a single natural material at a time.
The brand's fragrances are designed around exceptional ingredients—Madagascar vanilla, Australian sandalwood, oud, neroli, musk, and incense—chosen for their quality and ethical origin.

Each composition is minimalist, legible and modern, leaving the raw material the freedom to express itself fully.
The formulas are made from ingredients that are between 85% and 92% of natural origin, vegan and free of colorants, in an approach that respects nature and artisan producers.

From Paris to Grasse, Matiere Premiere embodies contemporary, transparent and sensual perfumery — an ode to the raw beauty of ingredients.
