La nuit tombée

La nuit tombée is the newest addition to Serge Lutens' Collection noire: a fragrance devoted to the moment when winter light fades and darkness settles over the memories of the day.

Built around three materials, it plays on restraint: the smoke of incense, the straight dryness of cedar, the earthy depth of patchouli. Together they form a chypre that never declares itself, intense without ever raising its voice.

Composed under the direction of Serge Lutens, La nuit tombée extends the house's line of great woody fragrances, from Féminité du bois to Ambre sultan. An intimate evening scent for those who like a trail to be earned.

SERGE LUTENS

Serge Lutens, born in 1942 in Lille, is a French artist of many talents: photographer, filmmaker, fashion architect and perfume creator. After early work in hairstyling and make-up, he collaborated with prestigious magazines such as Vogue. In 1980 he began a defining collaboration with Shiseido, shaping the brand's visual identity and launching iconic fragrances such as "Féminité du bois" in 1992. In 2000 he founded his own perfume house, Serge Lutens, offering unique, avant-garde olfactory creations. Deeply influenced by Marrakech, where he acquired a residence in 1974, he draws major inspiration from the city for his fragrances. Today, the Serge Lutens house is recognised for its artistic approach and its commitment to originality and quality.
