Gris Charnel is an eau de parfum by BDK Parfums, a Parisian house. Like a black-and-white photograph, it sets luminous and dark notes against each other in a hushed oriental woody.

The top weds the milky softness of fig to a sparkling, elegant cardamom, contrasted by the power of black tea.

The heart sets the powdery clarity of iris against a bourbon vetiver, before a base of sandalwood and tonka bean — carnal and enveloping.

Gris Charnel balances shadow and light in a chiaroscuro trail, sensual and refined.
