Jus Interdit

Sometimes, too much is never enough. Excess never exaggerates when it comes to sensuality. In the great tradition of the Orient, Jus Interdit — the house's forbidden fruit — plays the enchanter and flirts with the limits of propriety, daring to defy convention with a lavish dose of oud wood, patchouli, cedar and benzoin.

Bergamot and floral notes quickly fade before daman — hyraceum, the “African stone”, a rare and fascinating animalic essence — patchouli and earthy cypriol, ahead of a base of balsamic benzoin, ambergris, orris butter, Atlas and Virginia cedars and oud.

Composed by Amélie Bourgeois as an extrait de parfum, this sumptuous mukhallat dedicated to the princes and princesses of the 21st century — excessively sunny, terribly opulent, infinitely addictive — is worn proudly, unafraid of being noticed, in autumn and winter. Made in France.
