In Vanhera, a splendid Madagascar vanilla absolute tries to carve out a place in a world of ingredients that seeks to smother it. It is encircled, besieged by spicy notes of pepper, cardamom and cinnamon, then by warm notes of sandalwood and cashmere wood, then by karmawood, timbersilk and ambery notes.
