Daymon by Mendittorosa, eau de parfum

Daymon

Daymon is an eau de parfum composed by perfumer Luca Maffei to a concept by Stefania Squeglia, after two years of work in Milan. Its name comes from the daemon, the animal manifestation of the soul imagined by Philip Pullman: a lifelong companion, at once conscience and reflection.

The top pairs angelica root, Tunisian neroli and Indian jasmine. The heart brings together Italian iris and tonka bean. The base rests on Habanolide musk, New Caledonian sandalwood, a resinoid, Siam benzoin and ambroxan, for a powdery, creamy and deliberately intimate trail. Sales of Daymon support animal welfare initiatives.

Founded in 2012 by Stefania Squeglia, Mendittorosa is an Italian perfume house that creates limited-edition artisanal perfume extracts. Each fragrance is designed as a “prayer for the skin,” using natural ingredients and bottles handcrafted by Italian artists. The brand prides itself on being free of dyes, BHA, BHT, as well as PBA and PVC, reflecting a commitment to purity and authenticity.
