La Fille Tour de Fer

La Fille Tour de Fer is the most recent of Serge Lutens' roses — his "fifth rose". A rebellious nod to the Parisian woman and the Eiffel Tower, all in metallic coolness.

Pink berries launch the composition with a sparkling flash; an absolute rose from Turkey and Bulgaria forms the heart, ample and fleshy; iris closes the whole on a buttery powder, like a lipstick of old. An elegant rose, cold and with no visible thorns.

Composed by Christopher Sheldrake under the direction of Serge Lutens, La Fille Tour de Fer is the easiest to wear of the house's roses, in every season.

The house

SERGE LUTENS

Serge Lutens, born in 1942 in Lille, is a French artist of many talents: photographer, filmmaker, fashion architect and perfume creator. After early work in hairstyling and make-up, he collaborated with prestigious magazines such as Vogue. In 1980 he began a defining collaboration with Shiseido, shaping the brand's visual identity and launching iconic fragrances such as "Féminité du bois" in 1992. In 2000 he founded his own perfume house, Serge Lutens, offering unique, avant-garde olfactory creations. Deeply influenced by Marrakech, where he acquired a residence in 1974, he draws major inspiration from the city for his fragrances. Today, the Serge Lutens house is recognised for its artistic approach and its commitment to originality and quality.
