L'Eau Serge Lutens

L'Eau Serge Lutens was born of a manifesto: to create an "anti-perfume", an eau of pure cleanliness against the grain of the house's opulent compositions. It is the centrepiece of the Matin Lutens line.

Sparkling aldehydes and ozonic notes open the composition, brightened by citrus; the heart blends white mint, clary sage and magnolia; the base settles on a clean, soapy musk. The freshness of ironed linen, luminous and diffuse.

Composed by Christopher Sheldrake under the direction of Serge Lutens, L'Eau Serge Lutens is worn every day, in all seasons, with a preference for fine weather.

Expert tip

A Serge Lutens perfume favors, as far as possible, the use of raw materials of natural origin of the highest quality. They alone guarantee a true evolution of the perfume on the skin. Spray the perfume preferably directly on the latter and wait a few minutes, the time for the composition to develop its fullness and reveal itself in its most disturbing truth. At Serge Lutens, the essences always end up confessing themselves!

SERGE LUTENS

Serge Lutens, born in 1942 in Lille, is a French artist of many talents: photographer, filmmaker, fashion architect and perfume creator. After early work in hairstyling and make-up, he collaborated with prestigious magazines such as Vogue. In 1980 he began a defining collaboration with Shiseido, shaping the brand's visual identity and launching iconic fragrances such as "Féminité du bois" in 1992. In 2000 he founded his own perfume house, Serge Lutens, offering unique, avant-garde olfactory creations. Deeply influenced by Marrakech, where he acquired a residence in 1974, he draws major inspiration from the city for his fragrances. Today, the Serge Lutens house is recognised for its artistic approach and its commitment to originality and quality.
