Cacao Aztèque

Cacao Aztèque was born of a dream at the foot of the pyramids of Teotihuacan: a dream of a perfume that never existed. Xocolatl, the drink of the gods — stimulating, spicy, reserved for the Aztec kings, on whom it bestowed wisdom and power equal to that of the deities.

To recreate the magical world of Central America, the house started from the cacao tree and its brown beans, enhanced with spices and rum. Scents of earth and desert, dense and liqueur-like notes: a perfume resurrected from the past, distilling a few drops of lost magic into everyday life.

Composed by Mathieu Nardin for the Black Collection, it lets the mind wander in the company of Carlos Castaneda, the modern shaman, and Fellini's “Voyage to Tulum”, a film dreamed of but never shot.
